Zion Assembly Church of God School of Ministry
Bruce Sullivan, School Director
The School of Ministry (SOM) is leading the way in sound biblical teaching, effective ministry, the restoration of the spirit and vision of the church, and the fulfillment of the church’s prophetic call and purpose in the world. The SOM was inaugurated in May 2005 in rented facilities. The next year we were able to conduct the SOM in our own facilities — in our new International Ministries Center in Cleveland, Tennessee. In addition to the school in Cleveland, an annual session of the SOM has been established in California for the West Coast in the United States. Today, the SOM has spread into other nations with sessions being conducted in Africa, South America, Central America, and the Caribbean. God is enabling Zion Assembly to raise up capable laborers in his harvest throughout the world. The SOM follows a three-year academic plan offering both a one-week track of study and a two-week track for more in-depth studies. Please see below for a list of the required courses for each track. Classes provide a spiritual learning environment including both lecture and discussion. Post-graduate studies are available for students who have completed the two-week track and graduated. The post-graduate studies follow a seminar-style instruction including: lectures (guest speakers), assigned readings, reflective writings, and peer discussions.
